ScatterBrains

April 16 @ 09:30 18:00

ScatterBrains is an informal workshop at the intersection of analysis, geometry and learning, focusing on the theoretical and practical aspects of wavelet scattering networks and their applications.

The event aims to bring together young researchers working on different aspects of the topic and related areas. At the same time, it offers a welcoming entry point for students and researchers with different backgrounds willing to engage with the subject from multiple perspectives. In this spirit, the day will open with a crash course, and all the lectures include long introductory sections.

Venue. The workshop will take place in Aula Buzano (DISMA, Politecnico di Torino) on April 16.
Participation is free and highly encouraged. No registration is required for in-person attendance.

Remote. Live broadcast of lectures via Zoom will be available as well. People interested in joining remotely must register here to obtain access details, which will be sent via email on April 15.
